As negative rumors about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s marriage continue to mount, the singer had the premiere of her new Netflix sci-fi film, “Atlas,” Monday night — and her husband wasn’t there .
Lopez, 54, arrived on the red carpet alone. However, she made sure to accessorize with a wedding ring for her outing.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer wore a black and white ensemble for the glitzy Los Angeles event.
She was seen posing for solo photos, before joining co-stars Simu Liu and Sterling K. Brown as well as the Netflix film’s director, Brad Peyton, on the carpet.
Lopez and Affleck have been the subject of breakup rumors since last week.
It all started when Lopez attended the 2024 Met Gala solo. Then, it was reported that Affleck was staying at a separate house from Lopez, who was seen looking for a place to stay without her husband.
On May 15, InTouch reported that Lopez and Affleck were undergoing therapy to resolve their marital issues.
“Ben believes in therapy, to a point, and is willing to participate with an open mind, even though he hates the whole humiliating process,” a source told the outlet.
To add fuel to the fire, the “Hustlers” actress “liked” an Instagram post detailing the qualities of a partner that can lead to an unhealthy relationship.
The message explained that “you cannot build a healthy relationship with someone” who “lacks integrity and emotional safety”, “does not respect your time”, lacks “communication skills” and does not have strong self-esteem.
On May 16, the stars were spotted together in public for the first time in 47 days.
They arrived separately at an event for one of their children in Los Angeles, but they were both wearing their wedding rings.
Prior to this, the two had not been photographed together since March.
Page Six reported Monday that Affleck had “come to his senses” about the breakdown of his marriage to Lopez.
An insider said: “If there was a way to divorce on the grounds of temporary insanity, he would do it. He feels like the last two years were just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands that it just won’t work.
Affleck and Lopez were initially together in the early 2000s. They ended their engagement in 2004 and married and had children with other people, Jennifer Garner and Marc Anthony, respectively.
But the stars rekindled their flame in 2021, and got married in 2022. They share a blended family of five children.
