They couldn’t stand the temptation.
A mother black bear and her cub were filmed helping themselves to Krispy Kreme donuts during a delivery to a military base in Anchorage, Alaska.
The animals attacked a van at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson after the driver left the door open while stopping at the Express store, KTUU reported.
“You could hear them opening the packages,” store manager Shelly Deano told the outlet. “We were trying to hit the van, but they kept eating all the donuts.
“They ate 20 packs of donuts and I think six packs of three chocolate donuts,” she added.
Deano took some photos of the raid.

“I said, ‘He’s in the van!’ then the little bear cub followed and got into the van and they started eating the donuts,” she said, adding that she called base security personnel, who sounded sirens to hunt bears.
Candice Sargeant, local general manager of Krispy Kreme, said she was shocked when she learned about the brazen bear bandits.

“There’s no way bears were in the back of the van. We’d think of donuts and bears, and then I was like, “OK, how can we solve this problem?” “, she told the station.
Sargeant said his team learned a lesson from the incident.
“We’re definitely going to learn how to put our ramp up, close the gates, to make sure the bears don’t go back in there again,” she told KTUU with a laugh.
