Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is getting arcane-themed characters and in-game content

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is getting characters, items, and locations from Riot Games’ upcoming Arcane series via an update in mid-November. Publisher BGMI Krafton has teamed up with game developer and publisher Riot Games to deliver the game’s exclusive content. Arcane debuted on Krafton Video in China and on Netflix globally earlier this month. The TV series is based on the League of Legends universe and follows the origin of the two existing League Champions – set in the utopian Piltover and the Zaun Metro.

Arcane characters, items, game modes and locations will come to the fictional island of Erangel with new gameplay elements in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) version 1.7, the publisher said in a Press release. The update will be released later this month, although exact details have yet to be revealed.

Krafton detailed some of the features of BGMI version 1.7.0 on social media. It will include a new themed mode called Mirror World which will take players to Mirror Island. This will allow you to replace your existing character with one of Arcane’s characters, such as Vi, Jinx, Jayce, or Caitlyn. There will also be arcane monsters from the League of Legends spectacle across Erangel. Additionally, you’ll get in-game content, including Hex Crystals that can be used to trade for supplies.

The November update will bring a Piggyback feature that will allow players to carry stunned teammates or enemies. Additionally, it will enable a survivor number notification to display the number of survivors in each player area. The game will also get a smoke effect which you will see when throwing a grenade in the game.

BGMI November update will also bring features like grenade indicator, jump button as climb button and hard level in AI setting.

Similar to BGMI, the original PUBG Mobile has received updated version 1.7 with Arcane specific content. It was teased earlier this month.
