Bank deposits increased by 6.5% at the end of March

According to Bank Al-Maghrib, bank deposits exceeded 1.071 billion DH at the end of March.

After falling in pace at the end of December 2021, to 5.2%, bank deposits accelerated at the end of the first quarter of 2022. Deposits accumulated by 6.5%, to 1.071 billion DH, according to the latest statistics money from Bank Al-Maghrib. These figures also show an 8.3% increase in demand deposits with banks, to reach 699,703 billion dirhams. On the other hand, term accounts and cash certificates with banks declined by 2.5% to 133,634 billion dirhams. In addition, fiduciary circulation shows a link of 8.2% at the end of March with 324.359 billion dirhams, against +6.5% at the end of last December.
