Bam Margera was found after his second escape from rehab in two weeks – and is believed to be on his way to a new center, thanks to an intervention.
The “Jackass” star, 42, was located Monday at a hotel in Deerfield Beach, Fla., according to TMZ, after he was last seen Saturday night near the LifeSkills South Florida residential facility.
The outlet reports that officers were joined by a crisis response team, which included Margera’s mother and father, who staged an intervention at the scene.
Other family members called to speak to him, according to TMZ, but it’s unclear if the stuntman’s wife, Nicole Boyd, was involved.
Margera reportedly insisted on seeing the couple’s 4-year-old son, Phoenix Wolf, but was told he needed to get back into treatment first, the reality TV star’s camp told the outlet, noting that Margera had “voluntarily agreed” to check into a new establishment.
Page Six has reached out to Margera’s rep for comment.
As previously reported, this is the second time the MTV alum has fled rehab without permission in recent weeks.
The father-of-one was first reported missing after leaving a Delray Beach facility on June 13 without permission.
The stuntman reportedly informed the center director of his intention to leave the premises so he could check into another rehab, but cops were unable to locate him.
He was found safe and sound on June 15 while hiding in a hotel room in Florida.
Sources told TMZ at the time that the ‘Bam’s Unholy Union’ alum was sober and cooperative when police arrested him and took him to a second facility, the one he escaped the most from. recently.
