Bald eagle rescued in Bonner Springs dies | News

BONNER SPRINGS, KS (KCTV) — A bald eagle who was rescued in Bonner Springs this week has died.

The eagle was found injured in the woods and Operation Wildlife was able to come to its aid.

However, on Saturday, the Bonner Springs Police Department said the eagle died due to kidney problems and lower limb injuries.

“Although she was in our care for only a short time, she left a huge impact,” police said. “May his mate and his eaglets carry on his great legacy.”
