WEST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) – An owl was blown from its nest in West Hartford on Friday.
West Hartford Animal Control said it consulted A Place Called Hope, a rehab and education center for birds of prey in Killingworth, about the baby great horned owl.
He said he was told to take off the owl.
The baby was placed back in a nearby tree with its mother watching, animal control said.
High winds were widespread across the state on Friday. Parts of the state recorded gusts of 40 mph under a wind advisory.
