Ahead of the series’ release, BL spoke exclusively with the star cast and creators of the series, where we asked them about the glorification of negative characters in the series, to which the director Shujaat Saudagar talked about the same thing. “I mean, I wouldn’t blame people, but it all depends on the intent of the people watching. I didn’t see it as a way to glorify or deglorify gangsters or anything, this narrative is aimed to humanize the characters; this is not my personal story; it is about people who come from different social statures where one cannot pass judgment on the story; and there is no justification for a wrongdoing no matter what in a moral society.
