Avinash Tiwary Starrer Maker Talks About Glorifying Negative Characters On Screen (Exclusive)
Bambai Meri Jaan was released to rave reviews. He’s the face of the show. Kay Kay Menon And Avinash Tiwary win all the accolades for their heartfelt performances. While Kritika Kamra also overshadowed in this mafia genre, the creators struck the right chord. But there was something that got the audience talking: the similarities between the underworld and Daoud Ibrahim’Dara’s life and that of Dara aka Avinash Tiwary’s characters in the series. Ahead of the series’ release, BL spoke exclusively with the star cast and creators of the series, where we asked them about the glorification of negative characters in the series, to which the director Shujaat Saudagar talked about the same thing. “I mean, I wouldn’t blame people, but it all depends on the intent of the people watching. I didn’t see it as a way to glorify or deglorify gangsters or anything, this narrative is aimed to humanize the characters; this is not my personal story; it is about people who come from different social statures where one cannot pass judgment on the story; and there is no justification for a wrongdoing no matter what in a moral society. Therefore, it is also a story with “It is also a great moral lesson. Ultimately, this is a story about a situation of people who had to make the decision based on the situation. ”

Avinash Tiwary, who effortlessly portrays the character of Dara on screen, spoke about how Mumbai is an emotion for him and how this industry has only allowed him to grow as an actor in all aspects.
