Austin Butler attended the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday following the death of Elvis’ daughter Lisa Marie Presley.

The ‘Elvis’ star is nominated for best actor for his role in the Baz Luhrmann-directed biopic, which details the life of the king of rock ‘n’ roll.

Butler mourned the loss of Elvis’ only daughter on Thursday following the death of Lisa Marie at the age of 54.

This is his first public appearance since his death.

“My heart is completely broken for Riley, Finley, Harper and Priscilla following the tragic and unexpected loss of Lisa Marie,” Butler said in the statement obtained by Fox News Digital on Friday.

“I am forever grateful for the time I had the chance to be near his bright light and will forever cherish the quiet times we shared. His warmth, love and genuineness will forever be remembered. .”

Lisa Marie and her mother Priscilla were in the audience Tuesday at the 80th Golden Globes. Presley was seen cheering on Butler, who won Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for his performance portraying his father in the 2022 musical drama “Elvis.”

Butler used his acceptance speech to thank Lisa Marie and Priscilla, who sat with her sister, Ashley.

“Thank you for opening your hearts, your memories and your home to me. Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever,” he said. A teary-eyed Lisa Marie covered her face, patted her heart, and clapped.

Luhrmann took to Instagram to share a caption alongside a photo of Butler sitting next to Lisa Marie.

“Over the past year, the whole family from the movie ‘Elvis’ and felt the privilege of Lisa Marie’s loving embrace. His sudden and shocking loss has devastated people all over the world. I know his fans everywhere join me in sharing prayers of love and support with his mother, Priscilla, and her wonderful daughters Riley, Finley and Harper,” he wrote.

“Lisa Marie, your warmth, your smile, your love will be missed.”

Lisa Marie was the only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla, and had a half-brother, Navarone Garibaldi, from Priscilla’s 20-year relationship with Marco Garibaldi.

Elvis has sold over 500 million records worldwide over his decades-long career and is recognized by Guinness World Records as the best-selling solo artist of all time.

She is survived by her daughter, Riley Keough, from her first marriage to Danny Keough. She also has twins Harper and Finley with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.

His son, Benjamin Keough, death by suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27.
