AUS vs. WI | Twitter reacts to Cummins-Starc duo impersonating Bonnie and Clyde assaulting Windies drummers with absolute peaches

Fast bowlers have a charm that is hard to describe and impossible to imitate, with the best point guards exuding character. The Windies have become the latest to feel the wrath of the world-class duo of Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc as their peaches result in much-needed success for Australia.
After a rocky start to the West Indies chasing Australia’s gigantic 598 tally, the Kangaroos finally cracked the second day of the first Test and are once again firmly at the top of the game as the first Test of the summer in Perth. Tea approach on the second day. Tagenarine Chanderpaul was the first to fall after a valiant half-century and while the Kraigg Braithwaite-Nkrumah Bonner pair dug deep, the latter had to retire injured after a blow to the head from a Cameron Green bouncer. Even so, Jermaine Blackwood seemed to be holding up well alongside his skipper, but the Kangaroos frontrunners decided to up the ante after lunch to completely turn the tide in their favour.
It was Pat Cummins who led from the front with the first blow in the 55th. The captain threw the second ball from over to his counterpart around the correct length mark, drawing Kraigg forward into a defense. However, the ball traveled away from his bat after hitting the surface and straightened up just enough to miss the blade of a mustache, hitting the top of the stump. The ball seemed to represent every fast bowler’s dream delivery and was a fitting way for Cummins to reach his 200th Test scalp.
Not one to leave behind, Mitchell Starc responded with a beauty all its own three overs later. Bowling to an obviously struggling Kyle Mayers with suspicious technique, Starc threw the ball about the same length as Cummins. However, the delivery line was around the fourth stump, thus causing Mayers to push his bat forward on defense. The all-rounder was left completely bamboozled as the Kookaburra jerked back and swayed between his bat and his pad to send the bails coasting and the Aussies into rapture. Twitterati went into hysteria over the proposed sheer bowling display, sending praise to Australia’s bowling attack.
This delivery has just been lit!
Devastating effect!

Powerful Australian attack
Now all four specialist bowlers playing in this game have 200 or more wickets for Australia in test matches, with Patrick Cummins being the club’s latest entry. #AUSvsWI #AUSvWI

What an elite club
Only five test bowlers who made their debuts in this century have a bowling strike rate below 50 (100 wickets min)
Kagiso Rabada, Dale SteynPat Cummins, Mohammad Asif, Jasprit Bumrah
Shami and Starc at 50.1#AUSvWI— #PAKvENG #PAKvENG #BANvIND #BANvIND (@Hamza_Updates) December 2, 2022
Each run is worth 2 Brathwaite. Cummins and Hazelwood were playing unplayable balls. It reminded me of Adelaide where you wondered where the next race would come from! https://t.co/iCJs1mRoz1

class apart
When Cummins debuted in 2011
I saw the ODI and Test series where AUS played SA in SA
Fortunately, teams used to play at full strength playing 11 in all formats
Watson, Kallis, AB, Morkel, Clarke, Hussey, Steyn, etc.
Class players on both sides
One of my favorite series!!— Siddhant (@SiddViz) December 2, 2022
