Athens State University signs learning partnerships with two Huntsville employers

ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) — Earlier in the week, two employers finalized learning partnerships with Athens State University.

Crestwood Medical Center and professional services firm Aetos Systems have joined several other northern Alabama partner companies under the ASU Partner Program. These include employers as small as the Cullman Chick-fil-A and as large as Huntsville Hospital Health System and Cullman Regional Medical Center. You can find a complete list of participating partners on the ASU website, along with a form with information about applying for benefits.

The learning partnership offers employees of participating partner companies and their immediate family members (parents, children and spouse) three main advantages:

  • 10% discount on published tuition fees
  • No application fees
  • Free assessment of previous college credits, professional/training certificates for potential transfer to ASU

Partnership benefits apply to both in-person and online courses at ASU.
