Asante Samuel feud with Patriots, Bill Belichick escalates

Former New England Patriots cornerback Asante Samuel continued to ridicule Bill Belichick after issuing a warning to quarterback Lamar Jackson.
This week, former New England Patriots cornerback Asante Samuel warned Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson to join the team and play for Bill Belichick.
Samuel had spoken in the past about his negative experience playing under Belichick. It started with a tweet, and now it has grown.
Hours after Samuel sent Jackson the warning, Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon responded, telling him to “shut up” and let him know “it’s different here.” That’s when Samuel replied to Judon’s tweet, calling it “brainwashed” and asked if he “admitted it was terrible there.”

If you thought Samuel was done there, he also sent two more tweets, which you can see below:
In February, Samuel opened up about why he expressed so much displeasure with playing for Belichick early in his career with the Patriots in an interview with Betway Insider.
βIt was not a good experience. People think we won, and that was great, but when we lost the players got depressed,β Samuel said. βI remember one day very well. We won the game, but he insulted everyone after the game. Everybody’s walking around with their heads down, and I’m like, ‘What’s wrong with you? Raise your head. Don’t let this man bring you down. We just won. Do you know how hard it is to win games in the NFL? I never fell for any of that.
Samuel began his career with the Patriots as a fourth-round draft pick in 2003. During his five years with the team, Samuel recorded 237 combined tackles (212 solo, 26 assisted), 79 passes defended, 22 interceptions (three returned for touchdowns) . He led steals in 2006 (10), made the Pro Bowl in 2007 and won two Super Bowl titles.
Jackson’s bond with the Patriots began at the league’s annual meetings this week. Patriots owner Robert Kraft has revealed that rapper Meek Mill informed him that Jackson wanted to play for the team. Kraft said the decision would be up to Belichick.
Samuel warned Jackson against playing for the Patriots, and it then turned into a tweeting frenzy.
