According to Giallorossi.net, AS Roma have put a €65m price tag on Nicolo Zaniolo’s header amid interest from AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus this summer. The 22-year-old has two years left on his current deal and the Giallorossi are ready to let the attacking midfielder go.
While Nicolo Zaniolo arrived at AS Roma as a highly rated teenager, the Italian’s torn ACL in September significantly stunted his development. So much so that the 22-year-old missed the entire 2020/21 season through injury and illness before making his comeback at the start of the 2021/22 season. However, it hasn’t been the same with more than a few worries and other issues plaguing Zaniolo, although that hasn’t stopped him contributing to seventeen goals in all competitions.
He saw the 22-year-old catch the eye of the whole of Europe, but reports said that AC MilanInter Milan and Juventus are the Italian’s three favourites. In light of this, Giallorossi.net have revealed that Roma have set a price for Zaniolo and they are ready to sell him if they receive an offer of around €65m. The 22-year-old has just two years left on his contract but the figure reportedly kept all three sides at bay.
AC Milan have reportedly made an offer but it falls far short of Roma’s demands and so the Giallorossi have rebuffed Rossoneri’s offer. However, Inter Milan and Juventus are weighing their options, although the Nerazzurri are also considering a free transfer for Paulo Dybala. But the report further said Roma don’t want to let Zaniolo go and hope the high price tag will scare off any suitors.
