Artemis I gets a new wet dress rehearsal date

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. (WHNT) — The dress rehearsal for Artemis I has been pushed back twice due to weather and vent valve issues. However, NASA has set a new date.

The wet dress rehearsal is now set to begin on April 9 with liftoff on April 11 at 2:40 p.m. ET.

NASA officials said the two-day test is expected to begin with a call to stations at 5 p.m. EDT Saturday. Engineers will continue to investigate any issues and “refine the testing schedule to take into account information gained from previous runs and activities.”

NASA expects to have a plan moving forward by Friday.
