A report from Portuguese outlet Record has emerged regarding Arsenal’s interest in Vitinha.

Porto have a £35million release clause on the central midfielder, who is also a target for Manchester United and Barcelona.

It is claimed the Gunners are happy to pay Vitinha’s fee, pushing them to the front of the queue for the former Wolves loanee.

Arsenal and Tottenham are set to battle Leeds winger Raphinha after Barcelona’s ability to sign the £45million player waned.

Athletic’s La Liga report are struggling to raise the necessary funds amid their £1billion debt load.

Leeds are said to be happy to sell Raphinha if they receive a sufficient offer, now it’s up to the Gunners to persuade him that a move to the red side of North London is in his best interest.

Spanish release Revelo add that Arsenal are, in fact, the team that advances the most with his interest.

AC Milan appear to be the main threat to Arsenal’s potential move for Marco Asensio.

Currently on £60,000-a-week, Corriere dello Sport detail his demands to almost double his wages with a new team or on an extension from Real Madrid. Milan will struggle to afford that salary, it is claimed.

Talks are planned between Asensio and his club, as Marca report, with Arsenal set to pay £35million if he chooses to leave.

First-team football is also essential for the player ahead of the World Cup.

Paris Saint-Germain will consider a transfer for Arsenal centre-back Gabriel if they fail to land Milan Skriniar.

Inter Milan are asking for £61m for Skriniar while PSG, according to TMW, are offering just £43.5m as things stand.

Chelsea are also interested in Skriniar and, should the Blues agree a deal, it would send PSG to Gabriel or Pau Torres from Villarreal.
