Arsenal suffered a COVID-19 outbreak that forced them to cancel their pre-season tour of America the day before they left.
The Gunners were scheduled to compete in the Florida Cup, which begins this weekend, as part of their preparation for the new season.
But according to The Athletic, a number of first-team players and youngsters have tested positive for COVID-19, forcing the club to withdraw.
The affected players, who remain anonymous, do not suffer from any symptoms.
Arsenal is believed to be working on alternative plans, while Florida Cup organizers also have a logistical nightmare on their hands.
The Gunners were due to face Inter Milan on July 25, in five days, then face the winner of Everton against Millonarios three days later.
Meanwhile, Football Italia recently claimed that Inter must also pull out over concerns over the increase in cases of the Delta variant in Florida, which has led to an increase in hospitalizations.
Arsenal started preparations for the new season in Scotland last week, where they lost 2-1 to Hibernian and drew 2-2 with Rangers.
