Arsenal are planning an offer worth £ 30million for Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, according to talkSPORT.
The 23-year-old was relegated with the Blades last season but could make an early return to the Premier League soon.
The Gunners have already seen two offers for him rejected and are preparing to come up with a third.
TalkSPORT transfer correspondent Alex Crook said: “Aaron Ramsdale, of course, a late recall from the England European Championship squad, he had a great time as a substitute goalkeeper in this competition.
“From what I understand, Arsenal have made Sheffield United goalkeeper their No.1 target. They have also been linked with Sam Johnstone, but now everything is for Aaron Ramsdale.
“I have been told they have already rejected two offers for the former Bournemouth goalkeeper and are fielding a third.
“The costs could reach £ 30million. It would be music to Bournemouth ears as they have a sell clause. “

Arsenal allowed Emiliano Martinez to be sold to Aston Villa last summer for just £ 20million and are now on the hunt for a new No.1.
Trevor Sinclair asked why the Argentine was allowed to leave.
He told talkSPORT: “I don’t understand. We have already said, Emi Martinez is going to Villa, why? He was playing superbly well for Arsenal.
“They let their best goalie go and now they’re chasing their tail to find someone to replace Leno.
“I don’t understand how Arsenal are run as a football club. This Emi Martinez should never have been there.
“They should have let them fight for the No.1 shirt and be honest. They didn’t and he was superb at Villa.
“It would be a big step for Ramsdale. A huge club at Arsenal. It’s quite expensive, but when you have Arsenal players training with him, they will see his quality and reinforce how Mikel Arteta feels about him.
