Arsenal injury update: Thomas Partey, Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Jesus return dates and latest news

rsenal face a number of injury problems ahead of a busy series of matches.
Both Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe are doubts for the trip to Everton on Saturday, which comes too soon for Gabriel Jesus and Reiss Nelson.
Within the week, Mohamed Elneny was lost to a serious knee injury which adds to Mikel Arteta’s headache.
The club, however, hope to have Jorginho available for a potential start following his £12m arrival from Chelsea.
Here is your latest update on Arsenal injuries and their return dates…
Thomas Partey
The Ghanaian was taken off at half-time in last Friday’s FA Cup loss to Manchester City and assessed for a rib injury.
An initially positive diagnosis, as reported standard sportssuggested Partey will be fit to face Everton and Arteta is likely to confirm that news in his pre-match press conference.
Emile Smith Rowe
On the morning of Arsenal’s trip to Manchester, Smith Rowe pulled out of the squad after suffering a thigh injury in training.
standard sports understand that his absence was preventive and unrelated to his previous absence of four months after groin surgery. He should be in contention for the weekend.
Gabriel Jesus
The Brazilian striker recently thrilled Gunners fans by posting a positive update on social media about his return from knee surgery – putting on his boots for what felt like the first time in eight weeks.
However, boss Arteta said last week: “I hope we have Gabriel back for the last few months, it was a serious injury, a little longer than expected. He will do everything to make it shorter. but we will miss him for a while.
Jorginho
Not suffering from injury, as far as we know, Jorginho’s appearance against Everton is yet to be confirmed following his transfer on deadline day.
Arsenal had a Thursday deadline to register their new signing for Premier League action.
mohamed elneny
A successful operation was performed on Elneny’s right knee during the week after injury at the training ground.
The club have confirmed that their midfielder will therefore be ‘out for an extended period’ without delay for his recovery.
Reiss Nelson
The winger uploaded a picture of himself working out in the gym this week without any indication from the club on the status of his return.
Nelson suffered a hamstring injury in December and Arteta said at the time he would miss “a few weeks”.
