Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe emulate Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, as they join Erling Haaland on the goalscoring list after win over Chelsea

Arsenal equaled a 15-year record set by Manchester United legends Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo in their huge Premier League win over Chelsea.
The Gunners cruised to a 4-2 win at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night to end a three-game losing streak.
A brace from Eddie Nketiah and goals from Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka saw Arsenal level the points with north London rivals Spurs in fourth place.
Saka and Smith Rowe also helped the Gunners equal a record which has only been achieved twice before in the English top flight.
Arsenal have now seen two players aged 21 or younger score ten or more goals in a single campaign, with 20-year-old Saka and 21-year-old Smith Rowe both scoring ten times in the Premier League this campaign.
Man United greats Ronaldo and Rooney were the last pair to reach ten goals while playing for the same team aged 21 or under in the 2006/2007 season.
During that campaign, Rooney hit the ten-goal mark on the last day of January 2007, while Ronaldo reached that figure on Boxing Day 2006.
Before Ronaldo and Rooney, the last pair to score ten goals aged 21 or under were Michael Bridges and Harry Kewell at Leeds in 1999/2000.

After the victory over Chelsea, England international Saka was delighted to score two goals and claim victory at Stamford Bridge.
“I’ve told you before that we want to give the fans something to believe in us and today we showed the fight and the character and today is a huge result for us,” he said. at Sky Sports.
“It was difficult, every time we went in front they scored again.”

“We had to settle in and keep a cool head and we did that in the end to get the win.
“It means a lot to us. Losing three games on the rebound was tough and I feel like the boys stayed positive, we worked so hard in training and it finally paid off with the win tonight.
