The third of the game saw Gabriel Martinelli deliciously sweep away a helpless Ben Foster for the first time, but he couldn’t have done it without the help of his manager.

As the ball went out of play for an Arsenal throw-in, Arteta’s quick thinking saw him hand the ball to Saka, who quickly tossed it to Cedric Soares.

The lightning attack then saw a one-touch pass from Odegaard which was finished off by Martinelli.

Watford’s defense left their heads scratching as their defense tore apart, with Arsenal’s Twitter account key to pay tribute to the man who started the move.
