“Our complex remains secure and our security officers are the only agency employees directly involved,” said a CIA spokesperson earlier today, quoted by AFP.

This incident is reminiscent of the gun killings on January 25, 1993 by Pakistani Mir Aimal Kansi of two CIA employees while in their vehicles and waiting before entering the agency’s headquarters. Three other officers were also injured.
