Apple’s Tim Cook makes surprise visit to China as iPhone sales collapse

Apple General manager Tim Cook is crisscrossing China, one of the company’s largest markets, where challenges are mounting due to weak iPhone 15 sales and increased government surveillance.

The whirlwind trip, which was not announced in advance, includes visits to Apple stores, a visit to a key supplier and meetings with top officials, including China’s commerce minister. Wang Wentao.
