Another “juicy” storm could bring more rain, some snow to Massachusetts

BOSTON – It’s been a tough time. For the fifth time this month, we’re measuring precipitation in Massachusetts in several inches, and it looks like there could be more rain and maybe even wet snow in the forecast.

Spring can be so cruel here in New England. Maybe you look at the calendar into the future and think that April will bring new beginnings and new weather…nope.

Just wait until you find out what awaits you next week.

Weekend forecast for Massachusetts

The weekend looks good.

Saturday there will be a lot of Vitamin D! Temperatures will peak in the mid 50s!

Only downside: the wind. It will be a windy day on Saturday. West winds will remain strong for most of the day, gusting between 20 and 35 mph before slowing in the evening.

There is a slight chance of a few rain or snow showers late Saturday night or very early Sunday. The risk is quite low, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re heading out for an early morning service on Sunday.

Otherwise, Sunday will feature partial sunshine and temperatures again in the mid-50s for most of the region.

The weather will be windy but much less windy than Saturday.

More rain next week?

April comes Monday but with the same old story. It appears another long-lasting storm is headed our way.

Details still need to be worked out, but the schedule would be Tuesday through Thursday.

This will be another “juicy” storm with lots of precipitation. This COULD include wet snow, especially in elevated areas.

Nobody likes you, April.
