MILLBURY (CBS) – At Lux’s Blackstone Valley Cinema on Sunday, a perfect plot unfolded on the big screen – a real-life proposition!
“It was pretty amazing. He’s the person I want to be with for the rest of my life, ”said Jonathan Holz.
Worcester animation artist Jonathan Holz worked with the Millbury Theater to make his dream come true.
“I have always done his paintings and his small illustrations for Valentine’s Day, for example; Trying to do something a little bigger, ”he explained.
The bride-to-be’s girlfriends had their work cut out for taking her to the theater.
“I was like I didn’t want to watch a movie. Can we go to the mall or what? says Julie Deoliveira.
Sitting all around her in the dark room were the couple’s family and friends.
When Julie saw her name appear on the screen, she realized that it was her love story that was playing out for the audience.
“I just dropped the popcorn and I was like oh no it’s gonna happen. It was super cute. Then I started to cry. It was unbelievable. I was like, ‘yeah, just give me a kiss! Yes of course! ”She recalled.
This great unforgettable gesture, only the beginning of their happiness forever.
“Ever since I met her all I do is impress her and feel special. I don’t think there will be a day in my life when I don’t want her to feel special, ”he said.
A sweet glimpse of the attractions to come.
