Ange Postecoglou ‘highly regarded’ by Tottenham Hotspur after Arne Slot decision
Ange Postecoglou could be heading to the English Premier League sooner rather than later, with the Australian ‘highly considered’ for the Tottenham job.
According to The Independent, Postecoglou became one of the favorites for the Spurs job after Dutch manager Arne Slot, who was previously linked with the opener, opted to stay at his current club Feyenoord.
Postecoglou is reportedly being considered alongside Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim.

The 57-year-old stock has risen rapidly in Europe in recent seasons due to his success with Scottish powerhouse Celtic.
Postecoglou has completed the Scottish Premiership and Scottish League Cup league double this season, the second time he has done so since taking charge in 2021.
Current Spurs manager Ryan Mason is the club’s third separate manager this season following the sackings of Antonio Conte and Cristian Stellini.
The Tottenham link comes after Postecoglou was also revealed to be shortlisted for the vacant Chelsea job.
However, with Chelsea set to sign former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino instead, Postecoglou could soon take the seat the Argentine once held.
