Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic will travel to Australia as part of the new ‘Sydney Super Cup’ due later this year.
Celtic, along with Scottish Premiership rivals Rangers, will both take part in a friendly series which begins on November 16 during the domestic football break, with the mini-tournament to include A-League clubs Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers.
Part of the series will see the two Scottish rivals face off at Sydney’s Accor Stadium.

It will be the first time in the Glasgow derby’s 134-year history that the match will be played outside of Scotland.
The finer details of the tournament are yet to be confirmed, but three matches will be played over five nights.
Postecoglou, the former Socceroos manager who led Australia to back-to-back World Cups, said he was delighted to finally be returning home.
Celtic are currently three points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
“I haven’t been home in almost three years by the time this happens, so I’m super excited,” Postecoglou said.
“The club have obviously been there many times before and I know how passionate Celtic fans are about the football club so we are looking forward to it.

“There is no doubt that it will be special. I know how big this football club is at home and for me to return there as a manager will be emotional.
“There are a lot of guys I grew up with or shared a dressing room with who are die-hard Celtic supporters and they are going to see their mate bring their team down under.
“For the entire football community I grew up in, they will all be very proud of someone who has come through their ranks bringing home such a massive football club.”
