Amanda Serrano wants Taylor rematch alongside Canelo against Bivol 2

Amanda Serrano just lost to Katie Taylor and the pair are in talks for a rematch. On May 7, Canelo fought Dmitry Bivol and lost, the Mexican is also looking for a rematch.

So after the fight between Alvarez and Bivol, Serrano tweeted at Jake Paul and Eddie Hearn saying:

“Hey @jakepaul @EddieHearn how about a double header? @Canelo vs Bivol & @KatieTaylor & me? Charged for rematches”

Many fans in the comments section seemed to disagree with Serrano’s idea. Fans thought that if Canelo vs. Bivol II headlined the same event as them, they would be upstaged. It wouldn’t benefit their campaign to put women’s boxing in the limelight. One fan even offered to fight in Taylor’s home country of Ireland, to which Serrano replied:

“I don’t care where!”

Eddie Hearn could be the common bridge between the two fights that could make this event happen. The Matchroom Boxing manager was involved in promoting Serrano against Taylor as well as Canelo against Bivol.
