Amal Clooney doesn’t dress her husband George

In court, Amal Clooney would be declared the most glamorous lawyer of all time.

The superstar human rights lawyer stepped out in New York on Thursday night alongside her husband George Clooney, wearing a sparkly black sequined Elie Saab dress ($3,695) and gold Balmain heels.

The ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ actor kept it casual in faded dad jeans and a navy polo shirt as the stunning couple looked like they were going to two different events. (In fact, they were both going to dinner at downtown hotspot Locanda Verde.)

It’s not the first time Amal, 44, has amped up the glamor while George, 61, looked low-key.

The leggy lawyer often looks like she’s stepped off a catwalk in her gorgeous designer dresses and accessories, while the ‘Ticket to Paradise’ star sticks to the basics.

Earlier this month in London, Amal rocked a yellow sequined Stella McCartney dress ($1,042, originally $4,200) while George again donned denim.

But that’s certainly not the case on the red carpet, where the Casamigos founder always shows up in sleek tuxedos and suave suits.

George, who tasted and dined with many Hollywood starlets for decades before settling down, was introduced to Amal by friends at a dinner party in 2013.

They tied the knot in an elaborate ceremony in Venice in 2014, with the bride saying ‘yes’ in an Oscar de la Renta dress before changing into a flapper-style dress, much like her most recent look for the reception .

Now the couple are the proud parents of 5-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, and the “ER” star is clearly dressing the role.

But if anyone can pull off dad jeans, it’s George Clooney.
