After inspiring the community, Ethan the dog named “ Ambassador of compassion ”

He stole our hearts and united the community. Ethan the dog has been an inspiration to many not only in Louisville, but far beyond. He was starving and abandoned, found in the Kentucky Humane Society parking lot in January. It seemed his chances of survival were slim, but with the help of professionals and community members, he succeeded. As Ethan’s story reached more people, he helped attract a lot of money for the humanitarian company to help not only himself, but many other animals in need as well. The good he has done, the Kentucky Humane Society has partnered with the Kentucky Derby Festival, The Mayor Give a Day and Feeders Supply to name Ethan “Ambassador of Compassion.” A ceremony was held for him on Tuesday, and he was showered with gifts. Ethan the dog has been an inspiration to many not only in Louisville, but far beyond.

He was starving and abandoned, found in the Kentucky Humane Society parking lot in January. It seemed his chances of survival were slim, but with the help of professionals and community members, he made it through.

He doesn’t just live, he thrives.

As Ethan’s story touched more people, he helped bring in a lot of money for the humanitarian company to help not only himself but many other animals in need as well.

For all the good he’s done, the Kentucky Humane Society has teamed up with the Kentucky Derby Festival, Mayor’s Give a Day, and Feeders Supply to name Ethan an “Ambassador of Compassion”.

A ceremony was held for him on Tuesday, and he was showered with gifts.
