Adam levine doesn’t want fans to think the singer is in dire straits when he’s with them.
After a spectator jumped onto the stage and grabbed him in the middle of Bordeaux 5of Los Angeles this weekend, the star took to his Instagram story on Tuesday, Oct. 26 to defend his reaction to apparent claims that he sees fans of the group as “under” him. The incident took place during the band’s performance at the Hollywood Bowl’s We Can Survive event on Saturday, October 23.
“I just wanted to talk about the Hollywood Bowl incident, a fan approaching me on stage,” Adam said in his new post. “I’ve always been someone who loves, respects, reveres our fans. Without our fans, we don’t have a job. I say that all the time, to our fans. Thinking that anyone would believe me. thought our fans were below us, or less than us, my stomach turns around. It’s just not who I am. It’s not who I’ve ever been.
