As the saying goes, no news is good news. In this case, no news is no news.

Aaron Rodgers missed the Packers’ mandatory minicamp amid his feud with Green Bay, and it doesn’t look like there’s an end in sight. Fox Sports ‘Jay Glazer offered an update on Wednesday that isn’t particularly encouraging for Rodgers’ long-term future with the team.

Glazer reports that Rodgers still, absolutely, vehemently wants to leave Green Bay – which means it looks like potential contract extension talks may be put on hold for now – and business talks for MVP QB no. ‘have not gone beyond a phone call:

“I know he still wants to go out. Without a doubt. Absolutely,” Glazer reports. “He still wants to go out. Of course he still wants to go out. They didn’t suddenly insult him and say ‘OK, now it’s settled.'”
