INDIANAPOLIS — As quarterback Aaron Rodgers plans to play for the Green Bay Packers in 2022, the Earth continues to spin on its axis.

The world of football, however, stood still, waiting for an answer.

The Packers have given Rodgers as much space as possible to think about his future, careful not to say or do anything that could push a button and cause the 38-year-old veteran to pack up and move. It’s a tricky situation and pretty much all the Packers have done this offseason has been to show Rodgers they’re committed to ending his career where it started.
