Josh Inglis’ 48-point shot, Pathum Nissanka’s 73-point shot and Hazlewood’s three-wicket shot were the standout performances as Australia beat Sri Lanka in the Super Over to win the second T20I of the five game series here at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday. In the Super Over, Hazlewood limited Sri Lanka to just five points before Australia recorded an easy victory.

Meanwhile, Hazlewood said he talked with Finch and the duo came up with a plan in the second T20I.

“I just kept a good clear mind. I talked to Finchy and made a plan of what I wanted to do. Confidence is high right now and fun to execute,” Hazlewood said.

With the victory, Australia took a 2-0 lead in the five-match series and the third T20I will now be played on Tuesday.
