A$AP Rocky was spotted leaving Los Angeles Police Department headquarters on Wednesday afternoon after his arrest in connection with a shooting in 2021.
The rapper, who was on a high-profile trip to Barbados with his pregnant girlfriend Rihanna, was arrested and handcuffed upon returning to LAX this morning.
The new photos show Rocky, 33, leaving police headquarters in downtown Los Angeles surrounded by several officers, before getting into a black SUV.
He posted $550,000 bond after being arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, in connection with a firearm incident on Nov. 6, TMZ reports.
Cops said an argument between “two acquaintances” escalated and led to the suspect firing a handgun at the victim.
The suspect, whom authorities later identified as Rocky, fled on foot with two other men.
The alleged victim claimed that Rocky shot him multiple times and that at least one bullet grazed his left hand.
The outlet also claimed that police executed a search warrant at the “Praise the Lord” rapper’s home in Los Angeles, using a battering ram to enter the property and coming away with a box of potential evidence.
It comes just a day after he was spotted out and about with his girlfriend, 34, in his native Barbados.
The couple flew to the Caribbean island amid a high-profile cheating scandal, which has finally been debunked.
Writer Louis Pisano – whom Interview magazine dubbed “Instagram’s Messiest Fashion Influencer” – wrote on Twitter“Rihanna & ASAP Rocky have broken up. Rihanna broke up with him after catching him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.
The shoe designer, 34, was forced to respond to the allegations after the rumor gained traction.
“I’ve always felt that an unfounded lie spread on social media deserved no response or clarification, especially such a despicable lie,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
“However, in the past 24 hours I have been reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to talk about topics regardless of factual basis and nothing is off limits.”
She then referenced Rihanna’s pregnancy, adding, “Not even during what should be one of the most beautiful and celebrated times of her life.”
Pisano later retracted his remarks.
