A police officer gets into a moving vehicle to help the driver

Traffic cameras captured the moment a Macomb County, Michigan, Sheriff’s Department officer jumped into a moving vehicle to help the driver.

According to the sheriff’s department, the driver was experiencing a medical emergency when officers were dispatched to the scene. Once Deputy Nicole Miron got into the vehicle, she was able to stop it.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham commended the officer for her response. “Through her quick thinking and selfless actions, she safely brought what could have been a tragic situation to a close,” Wickersham said.

The driver was transported to an area hospital for further medical treatment.
