A New York subway rider attacked by two men


A 35-year-old man was struck in the head in an unprovoked attack on a Queens subway last week, police said on Sunday.

Two assailants boarded the northbound R train at the 67th Avenue subway station around 9 p.m. Thursday and struck the passenger in the head ‘with an unknown object causing a laceration and hemorrhage,’ cops said in a press release.

The suspects then fled the car.

EMS took the victim to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition. He had a cut and was bleeding in the head.

No word was said during the attack, officers said.

“They just rolled over this guy and hit him on the head,” a law enforcement source said.

Police released photos of the two suspects on Sunday.
