A few days before its first game in Quebec in nearly three months, CF Montreal presented on its social networks, Friday, a new secondary jersey that it will use over the next two seasons.

The piece of equipment, which is reminiscent of the design of one of the jerseys of the English formation of Arsenal, however highlights the blue color. This constitutes the “witness of the history, the achievements and the identity of the club”, indicated the organization by way of press release.
“The streaks that cross this silver jersey evoke the blue that has run in the veins of all the supporters of the club from the start, she continued. Blue is also rooted in the history of soccer in Quebec, where CF Montreal plays a leading role as a leader in the development of young players here and as a proud representative of this global passion on our territory. .”
The V-neck jersey also includes the Montreal logo rosette, which is made up of four hearts symbolizing the citizens’ attachment to their city.
CF Montreal will host Santos Laguna in the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League Round of 16 match on Tuesday at Olympic Stadium. The Mexican team leads 1-0 on aggregate.
