A man died after being shot, overturning a car in Albany Park

CHICAGO (CBS) – A man died after being shot while sitting in his car in Albany Park and continued to roll over in the car on Friday night.

At 7:45 p.m., the 37-year-old was sitting in his white 2009 Chrysler in the 4400 block of North Hamlin Avenue when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up and someone inside him shot it.

The victim fled in his own car, but then rammed into several parked cars and overturned.

The man was rushed to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No one was in custody Friday night. Area Five detectives are investigating.
