Galaxy S25 Ultra looks a little less aggressive than Galaxy S24 Ultra in new photos

The upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra won’t have the sharp edges of its predecessor, as shown in new renders shared by Ice Universe, the go-to leaker for Samsung news.

The phone appears to have ditched the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s sharp corners, which were sometimes criticized for causing discomfort by digging into owners’ palms. Samsung will address this issue by making the edges of the Galaxy S25 Ultra slightly rounded. This design aspect was apparently copied from the Meizu 21 Pro.

Ice notes that the renders he shared don’t accurately reflect all of the changes. For example, the leaker had previously revealed that the side rails would curve toward the back, but that detail was omitted in the renders, which instead show the phone with completely flat sides.

Another previously announced change shown in the new photos is a reduced width, although you might not be able to notice it right away. Since the part of the phone’s frame near the display is expected to be straight, this will reduce the overall width of the phone from 79mm to 77.6mm, increasing the screen diagonal from 6.79 inches to 6.86 inches.

An earlier report also indicated that the phone would be 8.4mm thick, making it thinner than the Galaxy S24 Ultrawhich has a thickness of 8.6 mm.

THE Galaxy S24 Ultra It’s a near perfect phone and the design improvements will guarantee it a place on the best phones list.

As always, the phone will feature a new Snapdragon chip. The faster chip could be paired with 16GB of RAM to deliver smooth performance.

The phone is also rumored to feature two new cameras: an ultra-wide module and a new telephoto sensor.
