Emma Hayes built a dynasty in England. Can she restore one with the USWNT?

Emma Hayes had just a few days between lifting another trophy with her Chelsea FC players and beginning her tenure as coach of the United States women’s national soccer team.

“In an ideal world, everyone would love to sit on a beach somewhere for a few weeks,” she said Thursday amid a whirlwind of media appearances in New York. “But my point of view is very clear: you don’t get many opportunities to go to the Olympics in your life.”
