GALVESTON, Texas (KTRK) – The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a 94-year-old man who went missing on Sunday on a fishing trip 90 miles southeast of Galveston, officials say .

The video above is taken from a previous story.

Frank Marinic told a friend he was going out on his 34-foot white fishing boat, the Mar Boa, on November 30 and would be back on Saturday, according to the Houston-Galveston Coast Guard Sector. He never returned, however.

Marinic’s friend has informed the USCG and officials have launched teams to search for him.

Authorities found his fishing boat near Claypile Bank about 90 miles off the coast of Galveston. A lifeguard swimmer checked that no one was on the ship, authorities said.

Coast Guard officials are still looking for Marinic. If you have any information that might help them find them, contact the USCG Sector Houston-Galveston at 281-464-4851.
