6 hospitalized, 1 in critical condition, after filming concert in Oregon

The suspect remains at large, police said.

Six people have been taken to hospitals after a shooting at a concert in Eugene, Oregon, police said.

At 9:29 p.m. Saturday, multiple gunshots were reported at WOW Hall. Eugene Police and several law enforcement agencies responded, as well as Eugene Springfield Fire.

The first call to the police came around 9:30 p.m. PST

Of the six victims who were shot, one is in critical condition, Eugene PD leader Chris Skinner said at a press conference early Saturday.

No deaths have been reported at this time.

Police are looking for a single suspect, believed to be a man wearing a hoodie who was last seen fleeing the scene to the west, Skinner said. He added that he doesn’t believe there is a broader community safety risk, but stressed that the suspect is still likely armed and dangerous.

The incident is under active investigation.

Police are asking anyone with relevant information regarding the incident (case 22-00850) to call 541-682-5111.
