5 new African signatures for the Radisson Hotel group

After Morocco, Djibouti, Ghana and Zambia, Radisson Hotel Group continues its African expansion with the signing of five new hotels on the African continent. These inaugurations are carried out in Ethiopia, Senegal, Tunisia and Ghana. They also illustrate the group’s entire brand portfolio, from the fast-growing upscale Radisson to the newest conversion brand, Radisson Individual. For 2022, the group intends to add more than ten hotels to its African portfolio. By 2025, Radisson Hotel expects to reach over 150 properties across Africa. Thus, Addis Ababa Bole will be the first Radisson-branded hotel in East Africa and will be operational from the summer of 2023. In Saly, Senegal, will open the first Radisson resort in Africa and the second Radisson-branded property in Senegal, the inauguration of which is scheduled for 2024.

Radisson Hotel Sfax will be the first and only high-end international brand hotel in the Tunisian city whose doors are expected to open in the second quarter of this year. Renovations of the independent hotel, La Maison Blanche Tunis, are expected to be completed by January 2023. Finally, Number One Oxford Street Hotel & Suites, scheduled for the second quarter of this year, will be the group’s third property in Accra and the first of two Radisson Individuals hotels to open in Ghana. As a reminder, in 2021, the group set a record with 14 hotel signatures in different countries on the continent, thus adding more than 2,500 rooms to its African portfolio.
