In an E! interview, Kristin explained, “My husband has been playing in the NFL for ten years. After about six years, I started getting bored of wearing the same three t-shirts in rotation. I remembered that I had my sewing machine in the garage that would only get used to when Halloween rolled in. I started playing around with a few ideas I had and quickly realized I had a knack for it.

She explained, “It was incredibly rewarding to turn something that was heading into the donation pile, into something that felt completely new. From there, I started watching hours of YouTube tutorials on the basics. I definitely still have a long way to go, but I’ve really enjoyed every step of learning this new skill.
