SNCF celebrates 40 years of TGV, with Macron

SNCF celebrates this Friday 40 years of the TGV, a birthday celebrated with Emmanuel Macron which will allow the company to forget the pandemic while waiting for the arrival of the next generation of trains, while the competition is pointing its nose. Since then, the 7 generations of TGV have transported 3 billion passengers. At the Gare de Lyon, in front of train 16 of the 1981 inauguration, Emmanuel Macron, who came in the company of the Ministers of the Economy Bruno Le Maire, of the Ecological Transition Barbara Pompili and of Transport Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, greeted ” industrial pride “and” human pride “, illustration of” French genius “, in the service of regional planning. He was then to unveil a full-scale model of the motor of the TGV M, long called “TGV of the future”, which the public company intends to put on the rails in 2024.

Faced with the increase in cases of covid-19 in his town, the mayor of Saint-Nicolas-du-Pélem, near Guingamp, decided on Thursday to prohibit access to the sports hall until October 1, to the football fields, at the Maison des Associations, at the Espace Daourit as well as at the “Kreizker” and Sulon rooms, via a municipal decree dated September 16. “The goal is to prevent the virus from circulating,” he explains. A decision motivated by the fact that “young carriers of the virus under 12 are not subject to the health pass and are likely to generate contact cases in schools”. A cluster would, in fact, be born at the private primary school of Sacré-Coeur. [Plus d’infos]
