4 Chicago-area restaurants ranked among the 100 most romantic restaurants in the United States by OpenTable – NBC Chicago

If you’re already thinking about planning the perfect Valentine’s Day with your loved one and want to make the occasion as romantic as possible, there’s good news: you don’t have to travel far.

Four Chicago-area restaurants have been named among OpenTable’s 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America. The long list, compiled by the booking platform, is based on more than 13 million reviews, according to a press release.

With us, the following establishments made the list: 3 Arts Club Cafe at RH Chicago on the Gold Coast, Andy’s Jazz Club in River North, Mon Ami Gabi in Lincoln Park and Meson Sabika in Naperville.

If you think it’s too early to make reservations for Valentine’s Day, it might not be.

OpenTable says now is the time to secure your place – based on what has happened in the past. The website cited data from 2022 that found 54% of Valentine’s Day bookings were booked by February 7.

But those seeking a table at one of the more romantic restaurants may want to act even faster.

Restaurants on the list in the past have generally booked before February 1. To make your Valentine’s Day meal a little less hectic, OpenTable has a few suggestions like making your party a weekend affair and dining before 6 p.m. or after 8 p.m., which are off-peak times.
