By sector, trade monopolizes 35.89% of total business creations, followed by building and public works (BTP) and real estate activities (18.45%), miscellaneous services (17.25%), transport (9.20%), industries (6.83%), hotels and restaurants (6.37%), the information and communication technologies sector (2.59%), agriculture and fishing (2.29%) and financial activities (1.14%), indicate the dashboard of OMPIC.

The regional distribution, meanwhile, revealed a domination of the Casablanca-Settat region with 11,305 companies, ahead of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (5,472), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (5,438), Marrakech-Safi (3,793), Fez-Meknes (3,084), Souss-Massa (2,625), Oriental (2,178), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (1,885), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (1,439), Drâa-Tafilalet (1,128), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab ( 954) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (433).

With regard to the legal form, 62.5% of the companies created are limited liability companies with a single partner (SARLAU), 37.2% limited liability companies (SARL) and 0.2% public limited companies (SA ).
