Neighbors told News 12 New Jersey they heard adults screaming and looked out the front door to see the boy being held by his parents as they waited for an ambulance and police to arrive .

Authorities said the cause of the boy’s death was not yet clear.

The county health department is quarantining the two dogs and the city says they could be euthanized.
