26-year-old inmate found dead at Donaldson Correctional Center

BESSEMER, Ala. (WIAT) – A 26-year-old inmate was found dead Wednesday at the William Donaldson Correctional Facility.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Yatowi Lesjuan Moore was found unconscious that morning by a cellmate.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted Thursday to determine the cause of death, however, there is no evidence of foul play or trauma so far associated with Moore’s death.
An investigation by the Department of Law Enforcement Services of the Alabama Department of Corrections is looking into the circumstances of Moore’s death. Moore was serving time for robbery following a 2021 conviction in Tuscaloosa County.
