2024 Fantasy Football Draft Prep: Rankings, Rookies, Strategy, Advice, Top 150 Players from Top NFL Insiders

Most NFL teams seem to have their running back depth charts set, but the Bengals have a legitimate battle to replace Joe Mixon. Second-year running back Chase Brown and veteran Zach Moss are battling for Joe Burrow’s transfers and each could make a case to be higher in the 2024 Fantasy football rankings. Moss is coming off the best season of his career while splitting time with Jonathan Taylor in Indianapolis. Meanwhile, Brown has averaged over 50 scrimmage yards per game over the final six games in 2023 despite fewer than 10 touches per game. Both should see plenty of snaps, but who should you prioritize for your 2024 Fantasy football picks? Brown’s 2024 Fantasy football ADP is more than 20 spots behind Moss’, as a lack of notoriety could hurt the sophomore.

Top 24 Fantasy Football Picks

The Fantasy Football Draft Bible features 2024 Fantasy Football surprises, including:

Kimani Vidal, RB, Los Angeles Chargers: The 2023 Sun Belt OPOY, Vidal ranked second in all of college football with 1,661 rushing yards. He’s the classic high-volume RB that Jim Harbaugh deployed both at Michigan and with the 49ers. Vidal is behind former Ravens Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins on the depth chart, but both players have lengthy injury histories. Vidal is a deep sleeper or draft-and-reserve player who could be a spot starter if one of the players ahead of him is sidelined.

“Vidal was productive at Troy, but he’s also been pushed to the limit with 528 carries over the last two seasons,” White told SportsLine. “His upside is higher than J.K. Dobbins who is coming back from another major injury.”

Jermaine Burton, WR, Cincinnati Bengals: Cincy lost its No. 3 receiver in Tyler Boyd, who averaged 64-752-4 over the last three seasons, coinciding with the arrival of Ja’Marr Chase. It’s a big role, and Burton was a big threat at both Georgia and Alabama. He led the SEC with 20.5 yards per reception last year and also provides insurance for both Chase, who missed six games over the last two seasons, and Tee Higgins, who missed five games last year.

“Burton has generated some buzz with the potential that he can fill Tyler Boyd’s role in the Bengals’ offense as a rookie, but enough of that juice is already baked into his price that it’s tough for him to reach our benchmark of success as a sleeper player without injuries to Ja’Marr Chase or Tee Higgins,” White told SportsLine. “Another potential avenue to provide great value would be for the Bengals to trade Higgins as has long been speculated.” Get the complete Fantasy football draft guide at SportsLine.
